Deputy Head of Nursing – Theatres, Pre-assessment and Pain Services, Morriston Hospital
Will began his healthcare career as a Healthcare Assistant at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Essex, before qualifying as an ODP in 2006. He worked at St Mary’s Hospital, London, then became the first ODP Theatre Matron at Royal Bournemouth Hospital. In 2022, he moved to Wales as Senior Clinical Manager and helped develop Llantrisant Health Park. He is now Deputy Head of Nursing at Swansea Bay University Health Board, the first ODP in this role. A long-time member of AfPP, he became a Board Trustee in 2025, leading on Inclusivity and Diversity and serving as Educational SIG Lead.
