Jane’s interest and expertise is in methodological innovation to optimise the evaluation of surgical and peri-operative interventions. She designs and conducts studies that simultaneously evaluate new procedures and novel methods. The goal ultimately is that all types of surgery in the NHS are based on evidence and patients are universally offered research participation.
