Mayflor Bernal is an internationally educated nurse from the Philippines who started working in the NHS in 2001. She is passionate about ensuring healthcare professionals from the global majority have a positive experience at work and reducing inequalities that will help them thrive. Mayflor has extensive experience in acute clinical services, with diverse leadership and management from lead nurse of NMAHP education to workforce matron for Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals international recruitment. Outside her role, she is an active member of the Filipino Nurses Association-UK (FNA-UK).
